What I’m Working On

PhD in Climate Science: Besides my graduations in higher mathematics, economics, and sports I studies Ocean & Climate Physics at the University of Hamburg. I finished my Masters Degree in 2022 and started my PhD-Position in 2023 at the Helmholtz-Center Hereon. Helmholtz-Center Hereon
Extreme Events and Their Physical Mechanisms: In my PhD I focus on Weather and Climate Extremes, their possible Impacts and their underlying Physical Drivers with and emphasize on Wind Extremes.
While studying, I started Graduates. We helped hundreds of students to understand math and economics in an easy way. Mainly we give private tutoring and online courses.
Just recently I started @youcation. Our goal is to incorporate SDGs into education and everyday life.
On my surf trips I take pictures along the way, mostly of landscapes or surfers.

On this site I write articles about my work in climate science, share my experience in surf photography, summarize books that I’ve enjoyed, and let you know how I am staying productive.

I worked up in the mountains as a service manager in Austria to follow my passion for snowboarding.
The last two summers I was working in France for the Vegan Surfcamp as a photographer and enjoyed some waves in my free time.
In 2016 I studied abroad in South Africa and since then started my passion in photography thanks to a friend I met there, who happened to take amazing pictures.
